Johnnie Mae Matthews - Here Comes my baby / Blue Rock VG++  £15

Nice shinny copy, the first Blue Rock release, flipped with a great R&B rocker, all round great soul 45...

 

The Recitations - Make the Funk Jump / Double Shot M- £5

Good funk record this, nice looking copy as well..

 

Jimmy Delphs - I've Been Fooled Before / Almost VG+ £5 Wol and has visible rub and wear, plays fine though

Classic Detroit double sider, somebody told me 'Almost' was the last record at Stafford...

 

 

The Wonderettes - I Feel Strange / Ruby VG+ Wol, £5

Grubby label, has wear, but plays pretty good, good for a fiver..

 

JJ Barnes - To An Early Grave / Magic touch VG+  Tad wear but overall a nice track.. £5

another Detroit Classic...they donat all have to cost a ton of cash...

 

Prince Buster - Al Capone / One Step Beyond / Blue Beat (2nd Issue, white Label) VG  £4

Plays through, lots of surface marks, got it from a junk shop Un-sleeved so you can imagine 

 

The Lovelites - My Conscience / Lovelite  VG Lots of surface marks, and address sticker on play side £4

 

Brenda & The Tabulations - Thats in the Past / Dionn VG Wol £5  ** ON HOLD **

all the Dionn releases look worn to me, must be the Vinyl they used, but this plays with a bit of sound, again cheap at a fiver

 

Gladys Knight & The Pips - Everybody needs Love / Stepping Closer to your Heart / SOUL VG++  DH £5

 

The Fantastic Johnny C. - Dont depend on me / Phil L.A of Soul that Frankford Wayne stamped Reissue in Styrene  m- £5

 

Archie Bell & The drells - She's My woman, she's My girl / East-west WD VG+ £5

Looks and plays fine, bit of wear on the label / Discolouration...from the LP, and a nice mid tempo track from them..

Nice copy of this Northern wonder!!! Pete smith sells this at 30, there you go, a bargain ** ON HOLD **

I'm assuming this is a later version of the fabulous Amanda Humphrey on USA, Really nice 6ts track this.

The Superlatives - lonely in a Crowd / Westbound M- £10 Now £5

very nice Detroit, again common but great, both sides

 

Impressions - I'll Always be Here / Finally Got Myself Together / Curtom M- £10 Now £8 Now £5

Nice 7ts dancer from the Impressions.

 

 

Theola Kilgore - The Love of my man / Septre sale sticker on label otherwise VG++ £10 now £8, Now £5

Originally on Serock, but this does look nice on Septre, classic sixties slowie.

 

Wesley Paige - Blame it on your Love / You Turn me Around / Rojac M- £15 Now £10

listed the slowie first cause it's a really quality deep record, better track IMO, but 'turn me around' is a catchy Stafford type mid tempo track"¨"¨

 

Hank Lavene & Orchestra - Image (Pt1/2) / HMV Blue first Issue VG+ £10 Now £5

Plays with a crackle here and there, surface marks but nothing really serious, and this is the first 'Blue' issue as apposed to the black

Verdelle Smith - A Piece of the sky / Uk Capitol £10 M- Now £8 Now £5

All time ender, got and UK demo so no need for this one.

 

Bobby Bland - Jelly Jelly Jelly / Duke Demo M- £15"¨ Now £10

Styrene release, which is unusual on duke, this is a stunning looking copy, and a classic from the man!!"¨"¨

 

Les McCan - On Time 4 track USA EP (Pic sleeve) M- £20 Now £12

Includes Les's Version of the Miles Davis Classic 'So What', which is the highlight of the 4 tracls, Nice 6ts Jazz EP and great looking cover.

A rare track from youngster Lenni Groves..

Bobby Bryant Sextet - A Change is Gonna Come / Musette MR110 M- Vinyl, label had been in the damp, see below scan, rare record this £40 Now £20 Now £10

As far as I know, this is the third Blue release Musette single, June Jackson, Mickie Champion being the other two, this is very Very rare record, I've never seen another, nor would most folk on here I reckon, first label before Chess...

The other version made famous on Radio Caroline I think

 

Arthur Conely - Hurt / UK Acto £5

I rate this slowie, its a good record by him.

 

Julie Driscoll - Road to cairo / Marmalade UK Issue M- condition £5

Massive favorite of mine, great track for five quid, cant say more than that. and that video with Brian gliding across, quality sixtes...
