Great choon, dont think that it has been played widely to be honest.................I know that Roger Saint put it on a tape for me some years ago & I subsequently got a copy & played it out a few times...............little response then but now I think that people are more open to those funkier bass lines, if theyre not too syncopated.

And i thought you were some sort sort of 60s dinosaur

Hoping to organise a night on Friday 16.6.05 in Fleet, playing stuff like this.

It'll be a free night, but no dinosaurs.

Dinosaur - moi !? Let me know about the do in downtown Fleet - providing you survive the Hungary trip. Dont ask for the "other" menu in the hotel either!!!!!

probably was a mecca or ritz thing, bought this as new release from spin inn m/c

mark

Yep and me!

Little Beaver was a Ritz/Mecca spin and i was only playing it at home the other week thinking it'd go down well nowadays. Another of those great ten pound sounds :)

Cheers

twas a biggie at blackpool mecca

It's not quite forgotten. "Listen To My Heartbeat" has been getting renewed interest over the last ten years or so on the rare groove scene, along with the funkier "Concrete Jungle" (which I prefer) The album was reissued a few years ago.
