Hi Soul fans,

Wanted to share a short you tube clip of one of the first releases from our newly established Angel City Records here in Los Angeles promoting local Los Angeles soul & reggae artists. Our first recording artist is Xiantoni Lynch, daughter of soul singer Gwen Owens. For those of you who have seen Gwen Owens perform live, Xiantoni along with her brother Xavier were the back up singers. Xiantoni's debut as a soul singer took place at a show we did six months ago here in LA with 1960's Jamaican ska reggae singer Derrick Harriott. Xiantoni floored the crowd with her enthusiasm, stage presence and outstanding voice. 

 

Our first 45 single entitled "What's It Gonna Be" will be released next month backed by Xiantoni doing a cover of her mother Gwen Owen's "Just Say You're Wanted and Needed."

 

A limited press cd sampler of the labels first artists were sold at our revue show last month featuring both tracks. The sampler is available through our website  https://www.angelcityentertainment.info/
