Premium Stuff
Hi everyone I know Jeanette Williams "All Of A Sudden" was bootlegged - reasonably convincingly. Anyone know if it was definitely only the issue that was booted? I have a demo and it seems to match up with the description of an original Of course, being a demo could be conclusive. If real, which I think it is, what is the current value of a demo please? Cheers Richard Link to comment Social source share

Northern Soul Uk
I don't think the demo got booted, I think it was only the release copies that were. Link to comment Social source share

Guest MrC
It was definitely just the issue that got booted. Nice on a demo, but not sure what current value would be, haven't seen one for a while. Link to comment Social source share
Pete S
It was definitely just the issue that got booted. Nice on a demo, but not sure what current value would be, haven't seen one for a while. £100 - £125 still I would think. Not like there's a demand anymore. purist
I completely disagree with the above. The Boots which I remember from the 70's had the phrase "promotional not for sale" on the left hand side of the All Of A Sudden side, but the font looks 'wrong' (when compared to the font they used for genuine promo's) Most have a mottled look to the red where they were left out to weather, but the people involved didn't notice it had started to rain Edited September 18, 2013 by purist 2 Link to comment Social source share
purist
Also, think the other Back Beat's I've got have the promotional information on the right hand side ???? https://rateyourmusic.com/release/single/jeanette_williams__randb_/somethings_got_a_hold_on_me___longing_for_your_love/ Edited September 18, 2013 by purist Link to comment Social source share
Pete S
Just to confirm what John says. Originals have a very glossy, smooth red/orange label, reissues are mottled and vinyl is much thinner 1 Link to comment Social source share
