Hello and welcome to the K-Mart Records September 2013 list. I’m proud to present yet another selection of tasty items lined up for this one : -

45’s include modern and crossover soul in-demanders like Jack Sass Band, Bad News Band, Sir Henry Ivy, Solid Gold Revue, David Sea “Night after night”, You and I (“Make time” on Cordak). Album wise we have the highly sought after G.T.’s Las Vegas modern soul album, Sharon Sole on Stang (perhaps the rarest album release on the label), Trama on Cat, Gene Townsel on Dobre and more. We also have a few nice disco twelves for those into that.

Also don’t forget to check my discogs.com shop. I add new records there every week. Email me directly rather than ordering through discogs and I can offer a 10% discount.

Bobby Hebb - Evil woman - Crystal Ball / VG+ / £80 (Killer soul with a jazzy and funky touch far away from the sound of “Sunny”. As with all copies I’ve seen of this there’s filt pen marking on both sides of the label. Flipside also has a stamp like mark from other label. Vinyl has a few light scattered marks, plays ok.)

Solid Gold Revue - She’s so good / Come let me love you - Castanet / EX / £80 (Classic double header off their ultra rare album. Modern soul dancer backed with a soulful stepper.)
