Just got delivery of this, which I got for a fiver.

OK it sounds very girlie white and I know nothing more about it.

Can anyone tell me if its ever been played out or if it has any value?

Jan Foreman "your last chance" Meadowbrook

I guess that it must be Detroit.

not heard it myself before heres what manship says £100 on his site so possibly half that in the real world

Very rare early 60s Detroit Sister Northern Soul from a Lady- Jazz-balladeer. Written & produced by John F. Merlino captures the upbeat atmosphere of the Motor City in 1963 with a horn & drum propelled Northern Soul dancer. Primitively irresistible

It continues to amaze me how many great records slipped out on Stax/Volt during the 70's.

I saw this see quite a lot of bidding activity on the bay the other day, so I looked it

up on discogs and picked up a copy for a fiver including postage.

Not sure if it got a UK release.

Eddie Floyd I've got a reason Stax.... I suppose it fits into the crossover sub category.

Now that is a whole new thread

Really been getting into the B side of this recently which is relatively new to me although owning the record years, top side has always been a big fave of course.Been told it's one of his harder tunes on the label but when you do see it won't break the bank like some of his others on the label?
