Soulie78
Wow!! Some great stuff here by Mr. Willingham. Hopefully I can make it Leipzig to hear his last sets in Germany. I think it's very sad that he stops Dj-ing, always enjoyed his sets. I've heared him 3 times two time s in Germany (Bielefeld and Nuremberg), but the greatest was this year at Prestatyn in the Queen Vic. Pub, brillian!!! Link to comment
Christian Punky
Yeah you should really see Carl in Germany! Link to comment

Soulie78
See??!! I mean hear ofcourse.... link Yes I think, I'll have to. There are some of my top wants, if I had the money to buy them, that he played at your night. Little Tommy, The Exits, Bull, Guitar Ray... I also do agree, from the short sound clip I heared on this site, that the Soul Bros. Inc. - Teardrops seems to be a great record. Would be interesting to know for what sum Lew Stanley sold it, but he won't tell us... Link to comment

Guest Arcticsoulboy
Well, those two nights in Gothenburg were the best nights for a long, long time. "Teardrops" gave me goosebumps the first time I heard it at NCSC in May and it did the job once again last weekend. What a brilliant record! And all you soulies in Germany: don´t miss the opportunity to go and hear Carl W. It´s gonna be so goood. Link to comment
Guest andrew bin
Went to see Carl at the Big Lock Inn Middlewich on friday, he played a 4 1/2 hour set and every track was first class (there ain't many that could pull that off) what a top night great venue lovely people. (although to much real ale makes you walk like Bambi on ice) I think Shute is going to put the playlist up soon, should make interesting reading (may take a while to type it all out) heard how good Gothenberg was (look forward to coming over some time) .............Andrew Link to comment
