FuzzyJonClay 3 Posted March 3, 2014 Hi there I'm off-loading a bunch of records and I've come across Joan Moody's "We Must Be Doing Somethin' Right" b/w "The Life Of The Party". I know there's different versions of this, and I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on the release year and value of my copy please. Mine is:- Sylvia Records S-5007 Black label with silver writing and NO white box at the top where the label name is Matrix: S-5007-A and S-5007-B Many thanks Jon
purist 293 Posted March 3, 2014 Original copies have one of those extra large capital X in the run out groove, they're raised so you can feel it. I presume all the copies without are just boots? if so it's actually quite a rare original isn't it?
dave pinch 1,717 Posted March 3, 2014 Black label moulded silver text on vinyl is a boot. Orig is styrene label is not black..more of a really dark brown or purple with Sylvia in a white oval....and a raised X in the runout

Pete S 15,541 Posted March 5, 2014 These were made at the same plant that did Shrine and Arock, the glue they used must have been terrible, that's why so many of those label's records have a label missing
Paul r 254 Posted March 5, 2014 Always wondered why the label on the B side of mine had done a runner.!!
