I saw this recently

Spyder Turner I Cant Make It Anymore £100.00 SOLD

No mention of it being a Demo so it must be a straight issue.

Surely not, I don't even think JM could get that much for it.

Seen an issue sell on ebay last year for £92, Crazy prices

Fing abart eeeebay is......if sold at auction, it reflects demand.

You can't put a value on such a great record based on 1979 prices...

We've all paid a quid for it, but anybody hearing this first time would pay a ton for it no probs.

Great tune but it should be in the 'under £20' forum section. Why would you pay a ton when you can pick up an issue minter off discogs for £15??

How about somebody creating ' compare the Northern Soul original record price.com?

Auctions can make folks bid extreme prices, especially when you just got to have it!

Best one I saw was a Ricky Hatton fan who bid over £1000 for a pair of boxing gloves that should have been worn, but weren't worn against Mayweather.

He sobered up quickly when it comes to paying for them a hour later...

When people sell things they've no knowledge on and when buyers do exactly the same.

He sold this little beauty for £120.

What's worse is that a quick search on Ebay throws up a copy on Aliza that sold for a fiver.

Me thinks said 45 was previously owned by a well known DJ from the West Midlands area.......

However a quick look through the sellers feedback reveals no feedback left for any of his sales of 'mega rare unreleased demo acetate/dubplate pressings'. Buyers remorse?

The seller describes it as:

WOW!!! AMAZING!! How rare is this?!?!

It is a mega rare unreleased demo acetate/dubplate pressing.

But - & this is what makes it even more special & unusual is that on one side it is -

By Eddie Parker & Sunlovers “You'll never make the grade” & Rainbows  “Help me if you can”.

How cool is that?!?!  When will this kind of gem come on the market again? Probably never!

Must be one of a kind especially with these particular songs together surely!

Amazing rare piece to own!!  2 different artists with 2 different songs.

OK. I could be wrong with this one but i always thought that the demo (£250 in my book) was rarer than the issue. So why did an issue copy go for £323.53?

Strange. fixed now.

But did some more checking and i was wrong, issue usually goes for more than the demo so it's about right. Sorry.

There's 3 copies of the 45 listed on Discogs with a price range of between £7 to £45.

E-Bay is just full of chancers trying to make a fast buck, basically.

To be fair the dealer is a reputable one and the start prices on these were 2 quid and 49p respectively, some crazy punters out there though
