Soul In Albufeira

hi folks ,can anyone point me in the right direction.i'm off to Albufeira in Portugal in a couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone could reccomend any bars that play northern/motown/soul music in the resort.Went to Tenerife last year and Toc recommended the Soul Lodge where we had some good nights

The Cavern Pub is owned by a mate who went Casino Nighters/Sams etc with us and you will hear the music played there

Peters Brother Carl also owns NQ Live and Alter Ego the last and current home of The Wheel

I went to the Cavern Pub last year and it's a decent little bar but it was more like a Beatles bar with Fab Four pictures on the walls.  Didn't hear any soul.

Just mention Northern Soul to him and he will happily gather a collection of Northern Cd's to play from.     This was couple years ago but probably same now.  Lovely place Portugal enjoy!

We go to Albufeira every year, hoping to retire there too, made a lot of friends there.  Needs more soul though!
