My pick for the day is a 70's track from the Newcomers. The Whole World Is A Picture Show.

Flip it for a nice ballad - Too Little In Common To Be Lovers.

:hatsoff2: HI ALL..... What a great oldie Pete, great choice, this group were STAX RECORDS answer to the Jackson 5, however with records like this one, they are a more soulful group, shame it never got a UK release as it had hit written over it, for those off  you who don't have a copy? you must put it on your wants lists, this record has made my day after receiving the verbal abuse the other day, thanks again DAVE K

Definitely a more soulful group Dave, this one emphasises your point further, another for the wants if you don't have it

Newcomers-Girl, This boy loves you

:hatsoff2: HI ALL.... Before I start please play the Millie Jackson above... OK!

Todays pick was played at the "TWISTED WHEEL CLUB" in the day when there was no such thing as a revival,  In fact this was a very popular sound from VAN the MAN.

thanks goes to SAMMY SEAMAN for the DEMO upgrade,

VAN MORRISON - DOMINO - WARNER BROTHERS WB7034 - 1970 DEMO.

I hope this goes down well with the newer WHEEL BROTHERS & SISTERS, not the sound of today, but I love it :shhh: DAVE K

:hatsoff2: HI ALL... You can't play Millie Jackson without her big hit, well maybe you can!

However to play her big hit, you will need to own it in it's most collectable format, this is what I would play if DJ ing out,

I have only 2 MOJO Blank 45, never come across any more since I got them, they are blank pre-release Dist by Alsatian  Tami Lynn is the other one.  (has anyone got any?).

"Breakaway" is a classic, I remember getting my copy as a new US Copy at CONTEMPO's

MILLIE JACKSON - "my man, a sweet man. MOJO 2093-022A 1972.

The SPRING 12" is well worth getting. DAVE K
