Soulsource Record Club "bumper Summer Special" Hot! Hot! Hotter

A beautiful, beautiful bit of 1970 female soul from me today, I'm guessing this would be classed as "crossover" these days, but I bloody hate that term!

This is truly fabulous, and everybody should get one!

Should be able to pick one up for around £50-£70 these days I'd have thought, cheaper if you're prepared to look a little harder!

Deniece Chandler - Mama i wish i stayed at home - LOCK

Hearing that newer version of Um Um Um on Contempo reminded me of this little beauty on Contempo. It had the instrumental on the flip but there was a separate issue of the same instrumental on Contempo by The Fabulous Echoes. Don't know why that was and don't recall ever seeing a US issue of this. Was it on Playboy?
