:hatsoff2: HI ALL..Don't know what happened to my posting yesterday, but it caused my PC to cough, to many posts at one time can devalue your reasons for picking the track in the first place, ever since I have been on the soul scene, give a soul boy a box of records and a deck to plat them on, it.s strange every one becomes an all time classic,  followed by" can I play just 1 more? it's a classic, so 3 on the trot! I think not.  unless they are undiscovered & new to the soul scene,

on average if we post a record or 2 daily, that's 5/600 picks each year, x  the hard core means loads of quality tunes,

So here are my next 5, I jest  this next tune is a quality cheapo, that has been overlooked by to many DJs, is it a bit to much manufactured with the Motown style? who cares. this DEMO come from the MJ RECORD SHOP, :g: ALWAYS WORTH A GANDER  DAVE K.

Super forgotten UK release from 1971 today I think. Got this in the 70s when I really wanted a copy of Jackie Edwards - I Feel So Bad, not quite in the same league, and never very popular at all to be honest, but I like it, I'm sure Dave K will like it, and it has got a nice funky beginning!

Jackie Edwards - I Must Go Back - HORSE (Trojan)

LP only (Great Expectations) one of England's great exports to Detroit Pauline Matthews certainly sings her heart out on this one, first played at the Mecca, or so I've read

top summery sound

Love is a Warm Kind Of Sorrow  Kiki Dee  Great Expectations  Tamla Motown

is there a demo of this by one of the Holloway sisters?

Having Mentioned Greg Phillinganes in an earlier post I think this would go down great with today's slower tempo. I first heard it on the car radio in California in 1981 and just had to get a copy. Reminds me a bit of Gerald Sims - You'll never be sorry.

Greg Phillinganes - Baby I do love you
