Loads of great footage on that site

cheers Sutty

Indeed it was from Bob that I first heard that this footage existed. I've been searching for it ever since. It was once on the internet, unfortunately they took the show with the Brothers of Soul footage down from their website a while ago for whatever reason. You'll notice if you go through the episode you posted the Brothers of Soul's performance is absent.

Coloured People's Time is the show and there are some archives here with some other soul guests, haven't checked them to see if they are still live.....

Just checked now on desktop (no flash player on iPad) and the shows are still there but at an hour apiece you just have to go through them to find the relevant bits.

Long live these guys, really great, unsung heroes or what?

After too many years of hearing their music thru less than sophisticated systems in less than sophisticated venues its great to see them in their prime

Fabulous footage, check this out, WVON Show from that period also featuring the Creations aka 'The Brothers of Soul'  which would date this to 67/8 perhaps... gives that TV appearance a real context, other than buying the 45's this is how you would have experienced them back then...

The Creations Comes in a 7.40, but dont miss Jimmy Delphs at the beginning...!!!
