Guest
Unfortunately my Birthday falls on 1 January. I celebrate my 40th on 1 Jan 05 so am thinking to get a gig together for 31 Dec 04. I need to hear peoples thoughts on soul nights held on New Years Eve. I obviously dont want to waste my time or money if the general concensus is 'no go'. Karen x Link to comment
Guest
HI KAREN I HAVE BEEN 'BANNED' FROM DJING AT A GIG IN MANCR ON NEW YEARS EVE NIGHT (FAMILY DUTY TO BE WITH WIFE!), SPEAKING TO A LOT OF PEOPLE THERE IS A MIXED CONCENSUS OF OPINION AS TO WHETHER THAT PARTICULAR NITE WILL GO WELL OR NOT. MOST PEOPLE ARE TELLING ME THEY CANT MAKE IT DUE TO SUCH TIES & WHO CAN BLAME THEM? HOWEVER IT IS YOUR BIRTHDAY SO GO FOR IT - I'M SURE IF YOU GET A REASONABLE SIZED VENUE, YOU'LL FILL IT WITH FRIENDS, FAMILY (IT IS YOUR 4OTH!) AND SOULIES ALIKE. HAVE A GOOD ONE GRANT Link to comment
Guest in town Mikey
There is a do on at the Wheatsheaf in London's west end on New Years Eve. The one last year was a cracker. 2 rooms modern down stairs Northern upstairs. Both rooms busy and filled with top sounds all night and into the next year. Come on Karen, you know you want to.....
