The Black and White Affair - Sweet Soul Lady (Topaz) M. £125

Very nice uptempo dancer, brassy, funky. Similar hook to Isley's 'Who that lady'.

 

Eddie Horan - City Life (WMOT) M- £85  SOLD

Very rare modern, spacey, atmospheric mid tempo from '82. Has sold for more than twice this price. Superb 45.

 

Kittie Doswell - Just a Face in the Crowd (HES) M- £400

I don't want to part with this killer funky, moody mid tempo crossover gem, so don't buy it.

 

Pretenders - I Call it Love / Everything About You (Carnival 560) M- £100 SOLD

2 dynamite uptempo dancers, quality all the way.

 

Pretenders - Just Be Yourself (Carnival) M- £125

Big demand on this uptempo, feel good dancer which is just waiting to go massive on the Northern scene.

 

Black Smoke Band - I'll Keep Searching / Get n' Off (Black Smoke) VG+ Offers over £650

CURRENT HIGH BID £1100

Seriously rare 45 here. Fantastic crossover dancer flipped with funk.

Numerous very light scratches but it plays great. This never comes up for sale.

 

Lorraine Rudolph - Keep Coming Back for More (Jet Stream) M- £50 SOLD

Dear me, you just forget how great this actually is. What a voice!

 

Las Vegas Connection - Running Back to You / Can't Nobody Love (Hep Me) M. £175

Very cheap price for this brilliant double sider. 'Can't' edges it for me as a midtempo killer.

 

Iron Knowledge Band - Give Me a Little Taste of Your Love (Tammy) Ex £30  SOLD

This uptempo, funky dancer is starting to get picked up on and it sounds awesome played out.

Would be mint but for 2 fingernail scratches which are surface marks that don't affect play at all.

 

The Tenth Dymentions - My Love for You is Growing Wild / Bushman (Sapphire) M- £30

Nice slow ballad flipped with dancefloor funk.

 

Percy Stone - Chained (UK Grapevine Demo) M. £50

Withdrawn demo. Crossover brilliance.

 

Sunrise Movement - Running Wild  (Ghetto Prods.) Ex. £325  SOLD

This is going big right now, raw, uptempo, adrenaline funk soul.

 

Young Ideas - Losing You has Made me a Winner. (Jeree) M- £400 SOLD

Absolutely beautiful copy of this funky dancer that is really starting to go.

Awesome rare 45. Brilliant dancer still to have it's day in the sun.

Nice price on this current in demand tune.

Cracking current play, uptempo funky crossover dancer.

 

Eugene Gaspard - Holding On (Rosemont) M- £110

Dark and moody killer soul with gospel overtones Sounds so good played out.

 

John Washington - Daddy Teddybear / Burn the Calendar (Sandwash) M- £125

Why pay £300 like I did, when you can get this double sided gem for this price. Doh!!

 

Mandrill - Too Late (Arista) VG+ £35

I picked up a minty spare so this can go cheap. 2 secs. cue burn right at the start.

 

Earnest King - You Gonna Miss Me (LK) VG+ £100

Monstrous, fast, funk soul dancer that you don't see very often.

Few scuffs that don't affect play.Awesome 45.

 

Ronnie McNeir - Good Side of your Love (Tortoise) Ex. £275

Fantastic, issue only feelgood soul dancer. Seldom up for sale.

A couple of fingernail scuffs that don't affect play. A really nice copy.
