My send off playlist has been set.

I am listing my 6 tunes from start to finish.. as the crown leaves the tune playing will be number 6

1 I'm Waiting - Bill Bush

2 Carrolls - Surrender Your Love

3 Send Me A Sign - Precisons

4 Lulu - To Sir With Love

5 Ascots - Just A Few Feet From the Gutter.... i am nearly home blush.gif

6 Dobie Gray - Out On The Floor

This would be, to me, a great 20 minute spot... leaving all my guests looking at eachother thinking, wtf? LOL

6 tunes to take with me,very hard but these come to mind..

Bobby Cline..Say something nice to me..

Jerry Butler..Aware of love..

The Jam...Carnation..(first live band and the love of my life, all mod cons)

Ray Pollard..Drifter...

Betty Lavette...Let me down easy(not the box,i'm gonna get burnt)

Volumes.. Aint gonna give you up..

I can see the crowd swaying to the volumes when the curtain closes...Thats the way to go for me but i hope its a while yet..You know when we make these choices that the list changes everytime you think about it...

Thanks for that steve, good to hear from you too.... In fact i've just been putting a tape together for you, mid tempo 60's, crossover type stuff, my missus ( Dian ) tried to claim it but I'll do her a copy. Either send me your address through the PM facility or e.mail it to me. A pint at the Ducie sounds great, could do with one now !. Off to Rugby tonight me thinx....

As the curtains start to close it would have to be The Joker(Definately the Mylestones version). Just to beat my wife to it with the laughter!

Heres a few to send me off with:

Sam Bowie - Think of the times we had together

Ronnie Savoy - Loving you

Robert tanner - Sweet memories

Whispers - Remember me

Johnny Gilliam - Room full of tears

Charles Mann - Its all over over

The first three would be for the people I love, the rest for everyone else.

Then I'd want everyone to have the best soul do ever starting off with

Fabulous Downbeats - Life goes on!!!
