The Classmen — Doin Me Right / Pearce (White demo) / Ex £30 ** SOLD **Snappy Mid-tempo, this is their best track by far…Really nice white demo. Willie Greasham and The Free Food Ticket — I Cried Boo Hoo / Majesty Ex £20Absolute spanker of a copy, and a brilliant driven Soul Funker… Steelers — Can’t Take This Pain / Epic Ex £15 ** SOLD **Never made a bad record the Steelers, this is a fabulous Mid-tempo group 45, brill lead vocal.. both sides are the business.. James Hazelhurst — I Won’t Die / SWAR Ex (2 X’s on Label) - £15Picked up lots of attention in recent times, Lovely Modern soul side from 1977. The Electras — Another Man’s Woman / De-Lite Records (White Demo) Ex £20Great seventies tracks here, pick either side they are both brilliant. Rare on a Vinyl Demo as well. Jimmy Richards — (I Won’t Be) Responsible / A&M WD VG+ £10As far as I know Jimmy did three tracks on A&M, all very worthy, along with ‘My New Found Joy’ this is about the best. He’s got a mighty BIG Voice has Jimmy Richards! Eddie Ray — Wait a Minute / Numero Ex (WOL) see scan. £15Brilliant frantic unreleased dancer, there was a slower released version of this track, both brilliant. Somebody has coloured in the cat number on the vocal side, I guess you cant see which is which in the dark. R.B. Hudmon — This Could Be The Night / Atlantic VG++ £15Class Seventies track, which didn’t appear on the Cotillion LP.. Lorraine Johnson — Can I Hold You to It / Atlantic £10Classic 7ts track this, and Nice Red / White vinyl demo. VG++ Condition. The Fiestas — Sometimes Storm / Respect records VG++ £10Really Nice 7ts Group 45, This is the nice vinyl release of this 45, as apposed to the common yellow label styrene ones. The Sons of Moses — Soul Symphony/ Sagittarius VG++ £15Classic seventies Northern Soul Bootleg… Loverman — Touch You Again/ Hilly City Ex £6.50Recent release and a 7"³ remix of the Modern soul classic by Ronnie Stokes which came out on Philly City as a 12"³ inch. The Precisions — Such Misery Grapevine Ex + £20Ex would be Mint Minus bar a really small label tear on the inner spindle, see the scan. Al Williams — I Am Nothing / Grapevine M- £65 Classic in nice condition... ------ All below are mainly 7ts, all £5 and under... Ben E King — I Can’t Take It Like A Man / Maxwell VG+ £5Great seventies track from Mr King this, well worth five quid! Luther Ingram — Trying To Find My Love / Koko VG+ £5Plays with the faintest hiss, audible but only just there, otherwise a great copy of a class Ingram track. West Coast Revival — It’s Gonna Be Hard / United Artists (Yellow Demo) Ex £5 Nice seventies group track. The Whispers — I’m The One / Soul Clock Ex £5 Dunn and Bruce Street — The Moment of Truth / Devaki VG++ Demo Copy £5 General Johnson — Ready, Willing and Able / Arista £4 Leroy Hutson — Right or Wrong / RSO VG++ £4 Little Milton — Bet You Win / Stax VG++ £4 Syl Johnson — Kiss by Kiss / One Way Ticket To Nowhere / Twinight VG++ £5Syl Johnson never made a bad record, this is a common one but its very good, flipped with his version of Tyrone Davis’s ‘One Way Ticket (To Nowhere)’. Major Lance — Gypsy Woman / Curtom VG+ £5Couple of marks on the run in, but otherwise nice clean 45. the Major’s version of the Impressions Classic. Ronnie McNeir — Wendy is Gone / Prodigal VG+ £4 Ignore the title, this is a fabulous song from Ronnie McNeir. The Impressions — You Want Somebody Else / Curtom Ex (Demo) £5 Double sider from the Impressions, really nice mid tempo sides in ‘You Want Somebody Else’, and ‘My Deceiving Heart’. The Larks — The Jerk / Money VG++ £5Classic sixties track from a very talented group.
