Firstly on behalf of Gilly and myself we would like to thank the guys and of course Lynn at Pure Soul for asking us to play some tunes at their Christmas Charity event yesterday.

We had a great time with friends (old and new), listening to tunes whilst raising money for a worthy Charity in the Nuneaton area. Well done to all.

This is what we played between 23.20 and 00.15 (I think)

If You Love Her — Barbara Lewis —Atlantic Records

I Need You - Johnny McCall — Alteen Records

Our Love Used To Be — The Royal Esquires — Prix

The Meditation — TNT Band — Cotique

Paint Yourself in the Corner — Al Supersonic and the Teenagers (LP)

Dance Senorita — Hollywood Flames — Symbol Records

Big Man Cry — Ernie Johnson — Steph and Lee Records

Good Feeling — Bettye Scott and the Del-Vetts — Teako Records

What Will Love Tend To Make You Do — The Mad Lads — Volt Records

Maybe Tomorrow — James Weeks and the Fabulous Inspirations — Goodtime Records

Do I Love You — Bill Robinson & the Quails — Date Records

Somebody Please — Billy Keene — RONN Records

As I Walk Alone — Norvells — Checker Records

I Blew a Good Thing — Jimmy ‘Soul’ Clark — Karen Records

Butterfly — The Ballard’s — Music City Records

Oh Baby! — The Creations — Globe Records

So Young (And So Innocent) — The Poets — Symbol Records

Stepping’ All Over Me — Slim Moore and the Mar-kays (LP)

Thanks for your kind words Rob.  Yes it is the B side of Ain't Gonna Run.... and I had planned to play it but it was funny when you played Ain't Gonna Run in your set and I said the Lynn.. " There you go that's another one off my list to play, I will just have to play the B side and see what thats like..." :)
