Swifty's post having made me think "Bobby" how sad we lost him, I saw a copy for of the track below for sale on a dealers list described as:

"Amazing Almost Unknown 60s Northern Dancer Very Rare UK Issue b/w Classic Northern Oldie" £75

Looks lovely on British and IMOP is backed with "the" version of "what is this"

Anyway Bobby Wommack "what you gonna do" , UK and US Minit (surprisingly few for sale on Discogs)

Here's one I picked up on recently, a case of "where you been all my life" , I guess most folks

will be familiar with it,though I wasn't.

Mine's a bit battered unfortunately but plays well, with a great Detroit pedigree too.

Jo Ann Garrett That little brown letter Duo

Some nice picks been played recently. I haven't posted for ages so I'm floating in with a mid tempo side - great soul music which needs volume.

Randy Brown - I'd Rather Hurt Myself.

Well not buying in December is a long lost memory now :lol:Heard this only the other week & just had to have one, just bagged a promo ......well you just can't say no can you :D

Been told it is an old Colin Laws play from the late 80t's.Both side are brilliant, usually a vocal over inst man but the inst to this is just as good as the vocal imo

Two Christmas Crackers there Martyn, three if you're counting the instrumental.

Can't imagine why the Tony Marrs track hasn't made it big, so typical of Wigan.

I'm comin home springs to mind.

One to watch I'm sure.

Merry Christmas All

:)

Mick

Merry Christmas old boy.

It was one of those when I first heard it I thought Why Isn't This Massive!! Then of course...........I must have one :D

Not the greatest vocal & that's maybe why it might work better as an inst???Can't wait to play it out to see what reaction it gets?

Cheers

Martyn
