Discogs Query

Hi all, 

I paid for a record on discogs which hasn't arrived. Added to that the seller has gone to ground. 

Perhaps I should have thought twice - only two feedback responses, one of which was negative  :dash2:

 

How do you escalate this through Discogs - I can't see the opinion in the 'help' section. Or is it something that is disputed through Paypal? And if so, why does Discogs take 10% if they actually do nothing re a human presence!

Well, if you have paid via Paypal you should be covered, I would go that route because I'm guessing you won't be buying from him again. Good luck.

All sorted and thankfully without much stress. 

He just sent me the cash back - all very odd. Said he couldn't post it, maybe he didn't actually have the record...

You know, I've often wondered if some people just use Discogs as an interest free payday loan Wonga.com substitute. Sell a record you have "in stock", get the money, use it for a couple of weeks, say you can't find it, then refund when you've been paid. Maybe I just have a suspicious and devious mind. And maybe you'll ALL be trying this now...  :hatsoff2:
