Roy Handy - Accidental Love (Orange Vs Light Blue Label)

Hi All,

Anyone have info on which pressing of Roy Handy's "Accidental Love" is 1st - The orange label or the light blue?  I always just assumed the light blue was since it matches the label on the Tamala Lewis single.  Also noticed the orange label lists Marton records as being located in New York, not Newark.

Based on a quick scan on Popsike, the light blue version seems to come up less often than the orange.

Any info appreciated!

Thanks in advance

The "orange" one is actually more red...well the copy I had was! :g:

I don't own the 45, so just going off of pictures I've seen online.  Maybe just the product of inconsistent photo colors or could be another pressing?  I do see what you mean though looking at some other examples:

The Blue one is pressed in Newark and the red one in New York....i think the blue one is the first pressing...marton label is from Newark, NJ...thats where it was founded in 1965. I have the blue and the red.....never seen an orange one.

They're all legit.  I've seen several of all three, as far back as the late '60s.  I got the blue one in 1965.
