I'd say most of UK 45s are VG++ [EX] in that marks are hard to spot . Some are nearly Mint. VG+ means you can see marks but they're usually few and light. Don't mind doing scans and of course anyone not happy can return. Look nice to me though. VG+ US copies are also nice condition with just a few marks.

Mylestones Sexy Lady HAWK SOUND [not distributed by Kent- 1st press?]

The first press Hawk Sound without Kent distribution (very rare) and the distributed by Kent dj's and issue copies, are from the same master plate with quite a wide 4 turn run-in groove. Identical groove spacing without or with Kent mentioned on label.

The orange boot Hawksound without Kent distribution written on the label, has a different groove spacing than the Kent one and is not rare. I think it only has about a 2 turn run in groove.

By 2-turn I assume that means on placing needle it goes round twice before music comes in ?

It is maybe hard to see but this is the original before Kent distribution. The run in groove is wide about four grooves. Compare to Kent distributed copy and the run in width should be the same.

The boot had a smaller run-in groove.
