Garethx
This is the Monarch, West coast press. Totally legit. They used the Atco-distributed logo from the older releases well into the life of the new Paramount-distributed company for some reason. My copies of Darrell Banks "Here To Stay" (next album in the catalogue) and Margie Joseph "Makes a New Impression" are like this. Hope this helps. 2 Link to comment Social source share
Soulof
Bit strange Andy. Have the blue Volt one myself. Track listing on Mancha sida is the same. From Popsike the cover on this one says its a Promo. https://www.popsike.com/JJ-BARNES-STEVE-MANCHA-Rare-Stamps-VOLT-LP-northern-soul/150757090315.html Another similar do not have the promo text though https://www.popsike.com/JJ-BARNES-STEVE-MANCHA-Rare-Stamps-VOLT-LP-northern-soul/350559507225.html My guess that it is a US promo copy thanks Olof Link to comment Social source share

Philippe
My guess that it is a US promo copy thanks Olof The promo copy is white label. https://www.bsnpubs.com/stax/volt.html The first Volt label was yellow with black printing. Above the center hole is "VOLT RECORDS" in black, underneath the logo is a black rectangle with a yellow lightning bolt in it. At the bottom of the label is Distributed by ATCO Record Sales Co. This label was used on the 400 series. The yellow label without the "Distributed by ATCO Record Sales Co." also sometimes appears on the 6000 series up to VOS-6017, through a pressing plant mistake at the Monarch, Louisiana, plant.
