Discogs seller: too good to be true?

Cover-up

Recommended Posts

just to shed a bit of light on this issue,i also purchased a 45 from this seller, the deal went tits up in the sense that there was a cock up with delivery, however he maintained from the start that he would get to the bottom of things, and either get the record to me or refund me!

it has taken a few weeks but he has stuck to his word and refunded me

i suspect the seller was selling on behalf of someone else, and there has been monumental cock ups, very incompetent in my opinion, considering the value and rarity of the records!

incidentally, that was the first time ive ever been on discogs, and the first time ive bought off discogs,i wont be going on that toss site again, there is no protection of any kind on there, and the seller cant even upload true pictures of the records! so your on a downer from the start!

It is possible to upload images of the actual item for sale on Discogs but is not mandatory. i always offer to email pictures to buyers if required.

Been selling and buying on there for around 4 years with barely a hitch worth mentioning.
