Trev;

That Bernie Moore has done my nut in, what a stunning piece of soul music and it was a first timer for me.

Jem; now you have survived coming accross the A14 to the wastelands, there's no excuses for not coming again is there.

Big thanks to the spinners again for playing some top tuneage.

Great taste everyone - very nice. :thumbsup:

The unmistakable Freddie Hughes track is wonderful and new to me Chris.

Nice one.

Peter

:thumbsup:

Lots of people don't realise it's him on lead on that track.I have the lp also and it says on the cover it features him.LP version is longer and he really belts it out.

Pretty sure Robbie Vincent used to play it on radio:)

Yep, deffo him. It's very reminiscent of his vocals on I Just Found Out - another fantastic track.

:D "Mysteron's"..Brilliant c/u that mate, only just spotted it:thumbsup:

Absolutely agree by the way, don't have to be rare records to make for an interesting soul gathering. Half of the newer things that get played here are 79p downloads, if that's the only way they're released then great....But yes course we do like the odd rare thing too if that's what people bring along:) Already looking forward to the next one 2nd August.

Cheers everyone for interest in having a peek at these monthly playlists and supporting little events like this when you can make it along. Steve
