Norman Johnson & The Showmen

Take It Baby / In Paradise

This has lived in the shadows of the now “played out” “Our Love will Grow” for far too long.

Click the soundfile to reveal two tunes ever note as good, as his over-exposure other British release..

Boy this ma was good, and boy this label is gorgeous!

Condition is flawless

Sorry, this item has already been won!
The winning bid was £ 261.00

I was after it myself but not paying that much

Sorry you did not win it NY Soul

Got a Swan Demo of this to upgrade from my old black issue.

The copy I got was mint minus 'buy it now' for $19-99 and it was

on Ebay all the week of Mr Manship's auction UK copy.

I watched as the price went up !!!!! but nobody even bothered with

the Demo I bought ? I know what I would prefer to pay.....

Its on the Action label that we are after. Rare as hens teeth, that's what bangs up the price.

I just paid £200 for The Rubaiyats Omar Khayyam on Action but that is worth it

Just did'nt realise 'Take it Baby' was as rare as The Rubaiyats and the ones I mentioned here !!!!

I got most of them, but I was replacing a copy of the Rubaiyats that was stolen from me.

It just seems everyone wants to buy Action ATM. Maybe because they have never been booted ;)

I nearly managed to collect the whole run about 10 years ago, if my memory serves me right, Tom Green was the only one I didn't get, always thought they would hold their value but quite shocked how much they have increased in value.

Martin

do you know if The Chosen Few "Funky Buttercup" came out on Action? It gets mentioned in discographies but never actually seen a scan of one...
