Pete S
You should hear the recording of this that Simon did where he managed to separate most of the vocal from the backing track, the singer sounds like he's drunk and slurs almost every word...what a racket Link to comment Social source share

Mellorful
Love the record but can't afford it, done the Euro lottery tonight in the remote hope that a jackpot win would put me into a buy it position. Are there any pictures of Damon Fox?If there are maybe someone could post a copy on discogsAtbStu Link to comment Social source share

Garethx
His record on Crimson is quite unique. A Prog-Deep Soul ballad with comedy sound effects. Almost like early Led Zep. Link to comment Social source share
Chalky
People will pay for this regardless of the condition. Rarely comes up for sale. £8k the last one wasn't it? Link to comment Social source share

Almost like early Led Zep.Always sounded like a kinda "prog" thing to me ears. Never ever liked it. Totally agree there with your comment; LZ... Rare and "northern soul" it is (was) ! But no soul at all in there. Would have love to grab one at any time to do a good trade... Link to comment Social source share

Never liked it, but appreciate it is rare as hell!I don't recall seeing it on eBay, maybe in the early days. Although Popsicle doesn't show everything that's gone through eBay. I've seen it sold via dealers or collectors. One was £8k if memory serves another was half that. Link to comment Social source share

Mark W
I'm amazed at that, thought it would have been double that. Recent times on eBay Rita and tiaras goes for 2.5k, phonetics just a boys dream goes for 3k, same as Damon fox. Those 2 are epic records in their own right, but not the same league as Packin Up, a true big time rarity, maybe even...can we say it, is it?? Dare say ho, ho holy grail !!!
