The fact that it's a 12" matters little to a good DJ.......there are ways to deal with such things!  It's all about the 7" fetish I'm afraid, it clearly can't be down to a pieces "originality"!!!

Besides that, Was-A-Bee is the original version of the song.........

The 7" is just a pointless edit with bits missing for people who put format before quality.

Was-A-Bee  played this at the soul celller Barnsley many years ago and they nearly run me back to Bradford  ha ha

Interesting, thanks for that. i was expecting something different when i saw a DSB version, it just sounds so "matter of fact" and not nice and smooth. shame, but thanks for posting

I love the 12inch of this tune, the way it's supposed to be. I know it's 7 minutes long but pure quality...
