Crawley Area : New Weekly Sunday Soul Jazz Funk Club Night Starts : Sunday 17th September - Free Admission ! Martin Snow (Safe Sounds Mail Order) starts a new weekly Sunday evening session spinning an inspiring selection of 70's & 80's Soul, Funk, Boogie, Jazz Fusion, and Soulful House, a few miles south of Crawley. To give you a taste of what you can expect, here's what's already in the boxes : Soul 45's : The Apollos, Brief Encounter, The Mayberry Movement, Funk 45's : The Firebolts, Hustlers, Overnight Low, 80's Boogie : Tia Monae, Radiance, World Premiere, Jazz Fusion : Naoya Matsuoka, Paul Mauriat, Jeff Lorber. Strictly no overplayed tired anthems or Larry cloning at this function ! Venue : The Fountain Inn, High Street, Handcross, Sussex, RH17 6BJ. 8 til late, licensed til 1.
