Event listing problem

Recommended Posts

Can Anyone help.

Trying to post up an event and I keep getting this error message "The provided start date is not valid" yet I'm picking the 17th of Oct 2015 so  why would that be invalid?

Someone must know where I've gone wrong !

Cheers

Rob

what browser are you using ?

there is an date issue with firefox

if not using firefox then try clicking the arrow next to the date entry box

a pop up calendar should appear which may make it easier

shout up if still having probs

I'm having same problem Mike, as you know I had trouble with date on the calendar, but know I'm having trouble posting up an event, I've tried several times for April 23rd next year but it just wont let me post, when I retry, the event with all the info I inputted comes up so it is saving it somewhere, any chance you can have a look, it's for Charity Soul Uk, Harrogate,

cheers

can't see it, the bit you see in the editor text box is a 'autosave' type thing so it doesn't always mean that the event it up

you can check all events you have added via your profile page

once on it hit the "see my activity" link - right hand side 1/3rd down

and then on that page hit "events" link -m left hand side bar

which will take you to a list of all the events you have added

eg

https://www.soul-source.co.uk/profile/14232-dekka/?do=content&type=calendar_event&change_section=1

if anyone is still having problems with the date it may be browser based or maybe operating system based or both

try it by hand as per the note that is now on the submit page

if no joy

then let me know here with browser and version  if you can

thanks  for passing on

Just had same problem earlier today funnily enough, the calendar manual date is of course the American way of reading it (which does my nut in!) I entered the date manually and a different date to the one to the one I chose came up underneath it, don't know what that's about but it all worked out in the end.
