yet more sad news,

have just edited the orignal post so it shows as a news item both on the front page of soul source and the "sad news" section ( https://www.soul-source.co.uk/articles/soul-artists-sad-news/ )

 

If do have sad or any news to pass on to other soul music types then it can  work better if you post via the 'breaking news' link which shows under the "add" icon that shows at the top of every page

That way it gets posted to both the news sections, front page and also the soul forums all in one post

2 of my favourite tracks are Street Life and Inherit the Wind , class !

Spiral is one of my favourite instrumentals. the Crusaders were brilliant in the 70's. Wilton also played bass to some effect. Really sad he's passed.

Played his Inhert the wind album non stop back in 1979 and his version of Donny Hathaway's "Someday we'll all be free" featuring Bobby Womack is a good close second to the original. R.I.P.
