Thanks for the amazing response to Volume 1! This one is even better. Oh My God who can they not have released Crying In The Night first time round? And that Isley Brothers track near the end, that nearly took my head off!
Over a decade ago, Motown let everyone hear some of the hundreds of unissued tracks that they had stored in their vaults. Some were instant classics, others took a while to grow - but I believe the problem was that they released too much material in such a short space of time, consequently many great tracks went more or less unnoticed. I've done three volumes of these tracks and I can promise you, these are amongst the best mixcasts I've ever done. I added a sprinkling of well known tracks but in the main, most tracks here and on the next two volumes were not released at the time.
