Reforee
Odd one this but need full label scans only of the following if possible. Wirl. Jackie Opel - Eternal love and Cry me a river. Need both sides as the labels are water damaged beyond reading. also Cautions - Is it right. Shrine (missing label) these are are for personal use and not bothered if black and white (would prefer colour) even though they are going on ORIGINAL vinyl . I am not wanting to deceive anyone even when/if I part with them. thanks Dave Halsall Link to comment Social source share

Gointoagogo
I didn't think that the Jackie Opel came out on Wirl. If you get stuck I can send you both sides on Coxsone but it's a reissue. Looking at the Shrine label above I'd never noticed the fact that the "distributed by" in bottom right hand side is reversed - not that I have any Shrines to refer to lol Link to comment Social source share
Gilly
I hadn't noticed that before either Link to comment Social source share
Reforee
Got the Coxsone issue, but what's left of the label colour and it has Wirl scratched into run out groove leads me to believe it's Wirl, unless someone knows better? not noticed that either, suspect it's from the label above it when manufactured? Roburt
The Jackie Opel sides were released on a King label 45 in the UK in 1965 and escaped in Jamaica on Studio One & Coxsone (but with a WIRL matrix). Don't know if the 1st Jamaican release was actually on WIRL though. Link to comment Social source share
Reforee
Roburt thanks for that info. It is defo not a Coxone as have that and mine doesn't have the the same run out groove ref! Thought about Studio one but what is left of the labels are a green/black colour similar to a couple,of Wirl labels, throw in the Wirl in the run out groove I am just assuming it is from that label. Think I should check out any label discogs to see if anything matchs? cheers Dave Link to comment Social source share
