Tell you what this was a real top night and the music quality was excellent..

Everyone seemed to be enjoying there self's and I think the fact that there was a cheap bar helped as well.

There were about 130 paying punters and 10 or so guests. So for a first night in maybe one of the hardest places to find. It was a result.

I dj'd for about 45 mins I'm not one to put up play lists, but I will so here's a first..

Oh and I bought one record. WILSON PICKETT - LET ME BE YOUR BOY.

Top of the stairs - Ashford & Simpson

I only get this feeling - Chuck Jackson

Giving it all to you - Cheryl Berdell

Your song - the dells

Cashing in - voices of east harlem

Ready willing and able - Jimmy Holiday and Clydie King

Our love will grow - the showmen

Change my darkness into light - the flirtations

I gotta let you go - Martha reeves

Baby I'm coming home - Mack rice

I'll love you till the cows come home - Clyde Mcphatter

Comin down - Jackie Shane

Say I do - Jackie Wilson & Linda Hopkins

Try a little harder - the fi-dels

The pain gets a little deeper - Darrow Fletcher

Ain't no mountain high enough - Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell

Moldie who put the do on has another one lined up at Lightwater on the 4th December

I'll put that in the calendar on Monday (as I've left the flyer at home)

Thanks everyone who came and supported the do hope you enjoyed it. unsure.gif

No you won't. EVER.

This 'not dancing' biz has gone on way too long.....

If you are very, very lucky you'll catch a little spin by the edge of the dance floor.

Its well worth waiting for & you think it might lead on to a little 2 step......but naaaah.

Ain't ever gonna happen, baton or no baton.

You must have missed the bit when i hid behind the curtain at the bottom of the stage waiting for Moldie to come down the stairs.. and when he did I chucked the Baton at him and he run off like a little girl.. was really funny
