Not quite my favourite but certainly in my top Motown 100 and one of the Four Tops' finest recordings - also a superb "b' side

At the risk of repeating what has gone before.  Where do you start and how do you narrow it down to just one?

Well my choice  is: Hattie Littles,  Wish you were here.

What a voice she had.

This is my fave from her.

I have these 2 tracks by Jackson Five on my current favourites playlist.

I still prefer the Delfonics' version of La La Means I Love You but this version is an outstanding cover.

And their version of Darling Dear is imo better than Smokey & Miracles version and has to be the best 45 that you can still get for a couple of quid.

The undisputed truth's version of the Temps original version of smiling faces sometimes blows the Temps version out of the water and has to be one of my fave undisputed truth's songs.

I have since my teens my copy of Tamla Motown / spanish Belter 45 "Help Yourself" b/w "What's Goin' On", a very interesting and soulful cover of Marvin's one. I likes the fusion Undisputed Truth and some other Invictus groups (8th Day, Chairmen Of The Board,…) made of funk and rock and also some "San Francisco" scene acts as Cold Blood.

Must be reaching the end of this topic and might need to fire up Atlantic or RCA etc.

But this needs adding as another example of what might have been.
