Guest Andy Brazil
ok folks -just confirmed after party till 6.30 a.m. (now it's practically a nighter, with a stroll in between) those that have been to the upstairs club at Clockwork (the main event) already know it's a lovely venue, ,hefty sound-system,with 4! big sub-woofers, & wooden dancefloor, *p.s. got word from the owner of the Hard as Nails(1) venue he's now found a buyer for the venue, who'll keep it as a club -sounded very enthusiastic, said he liked our crowd, & wants us to book again !! -might have to put that venue choice up for a poll -roll on HAN2 ! I really liked the venue and would definately go along again as long as we didn't all have to get paranoid at around 5am that we weren't drinking enough - after a whole night of dancing stomach's are a bit more fragile around 5 so unless he wants some extra cleaning to do of the dancefloor... Prophonics 2029
A huge thanks to all who attended and the DJs Niamh Lynch, Ted Couldstone and Alan Hanscomb for there marvellous set's and to Ted who left us with a lot to think about, a very hard act to follow. A fantastic night, a great fresh crowd, the best looking I have seen in years. We will be back with Hard as Nails III soon. https://www.soul-source.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=36357 Edited October 28, 2006 by Prophonics 2026 Link to comment

Guest Andy Brazil
cheers Andy, great night, always enjoy Niamh's sets, nice venue too, very smooth floor (shame about all the unnecessary talc that appeared at one point...), not that i can dance anyway... cheers since the next venue (London Bridge) has a larger dancefloor, might try talc/no talc areas to cater for different strokes. Yeah another top night. Well done Andy and everyone else... Hello Ian glad you made it, THanks to Niamh,Ted & Alan for playing great sets; got many positive remarks about how many "fresh" tunes were played through out the night looking forward to London Bridge; not least for the fact that these will be allnighters. (won't have to faff around finding after-party venues ! ) last but not least, thanks to the dancers! the next event (London Bridge 1960s R&B Allnighter) is 8th of dec, then (Hard as Nails 3 - allnighter) 29th of dec, at Jacks, 7-9 Crucifix lane, London Bridge SE1 3JW 10 pm - 7 am £6 before 11 pm £8 after .A Link to comment
