Would love to hear how this went, Belson/Stevie if you get time whistling.gif

Great night, Baz - the busiest I've seen it, both rooms were busy til close at around 4am.

Steve and I played a half hour set each in the back room, playing slower stuff, mod and hammond......my set consisted of;

Society, Inc 'Society' on Bet

Emperors Soul 69 'Bring out yourself' on Futura

Sandy Gaye 'He's good for me' on Moonshot

Larry Davis 'Whole world down on you' on Virgo

T-K-O's 'The fat man' on Ten Star

Ray Agee 'Leave me alone' on Celeste

Maggie Thrett 'Soupy' on Dynovoice

Rod Lumpkin 'High Society' on Black Rock

The Birdwatchers 'You got it' on Scott

James Booker 'Big Nick' on Peacock

The Pop-Ups 'Lurking' on HBR

Lorenzo Manley 'I want to bang your box' on Headline

The main room floor was busy for most of the night apart from one fellow who went just a little too leftfield psych for the crowd.....but Steve got out of that one admirably ; )

Tune of the night was possibly The Volumes 'My road is the right road' on Inferno.......possibly : )

....and my main room set consisted of;

Dinah Washington 'Soulville' on Roulette

Robert Moore 'Can't stand it' on Saadia

Earl Cosby 'Ooh honey baby' on Mira

Jimmy Washington 'You oughta see my baby' on Back Beat

Erma Franklin 'Don't wait too long' on Epic

Sam Green 'It's time to move' on Goldsmith TCB

The Volumes 'My road is the right road' on Inferno

Tender Joe Richardson 'I ain't going for that' on HBDC

Bill Garner 'Brand new girl' on BGP

Chuck Carbo 'Can I be your squeeze' on Fireball

Carlton Basco 'Don't chain my soul' on Freedom

Sheryl Swope 'Can't get him off my mind' on Duo

Barbara Stant 'I'm going to outfit you baby' on Shiptown

Dorsey Brockington 'Stormy weather' on Plut

Boyd McCoy 'Got to give a little' on Funky

A fairly broad ship....and people were into it.

Great sets from Steve.
