But most of all hearing great soul music you wouldn't normally hear. Well done all hope it goes from strength to strenghth.  Sorry I missed tanks spot a mate of impeccable soul taste. But nice to hear  my good friend Johnny the Fox get a mention also a man with an ear for class soul music. K n L.

Thanks Brian, Steve and all involved for taking the time and putting this on. It was worth getting out of the house for a couple of hours even though I wasn't tip top to listen to some fantastic tunes and catch up with friends. I probably stayed out too long but at least I played a few tunes and I had a good nights sleep... Just hope I haven't shared my germs, apologies if I have.

Looking forward to the next one and only 5 minutes up the road for us.

Gilly and Nicola

Superb Nicola, Individuals, William Bell and Barbara Acklin just awesome

Given the Detroit connection, the Lenyard 45 imo lives far too much in the shadows of Eddie Parker's 'If you must go'. Great choice.

Yes; I must thank my good friend Mike Charlton for that one, he turned up a couple of copies several Soul Essence'es ago and thrust one into my hand.

Utterly fabulous music. Not that easy to come by either.
