Friday 26th November BIDDS - 2 room event - Northern & Rare Soul rooms Sutherland Road, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs. Main Room (250 capacity) North Staffs & South Cheshire soul scene DJs putting on a show of support for Soulie Kev Hartley, currently suffering from ill health. Across the board Northern Soul with DJs Tot Johnson, Keith Minshull, Dave Evison, Gary Taylor, Mace, Phil Ankers, Johnny Briggs, Clive Read, Wilkie and Austin. All profits go to Kev to give him a well deserved boost for Christmas and New Year. Free CD to first 50 throught the door. Main room open 8.00 p.m. - 1.30 a.m. Room 2 - Rare Soul (130 capacity) Quality rare soul gems from DJs Carl Willingham, Roger Banks, Des Parker and Mace. FREE CD to first 25 through the door. Opens an hour later than main room at 9.00 p.m. - 1.30 a.m. Atmospheric venue - large wooden dancefloors - late bars - private carpark £4 before 10.00 p.m. / £5 after - no admission after 11.00 p.m. Advance tickets available.
