Robert Thomas - Salvation

I am wanting to buy a copy of Salvation but finances do not allow me to pay nearly £200 for any of the ones currently for sale on various sites. However I have been doing research on the internet and have found copies of the 70's re-press. What I need to know is if the Robert Thomas and Six Feet Under is exactly the same song as the original or a remix as Six Feet Under are not mentioned on the original. Also what would be a reasonable price to pay for a re-press? Any information welcome

Thank you everyone for your replies.  Ady thanks for the offer but still a bit beyond my finances, the wife would be far from pleased, to put it mildly, if she thought I had paid that much for a record. I wanted to buy it for her as a surprise and I know she particularly likes the two slower breaks in the song so that is why I was asking if the represses are the same song. I can't seem to get to hear a sound bite of the pastel green copy, always comes up with the yellow original. Can anyone put one on here for me please.

RT came out on Charay C-87 (yellow) , G 100 (pale green) and G103 (pale purple). I played C-87 and G100 on Youtube just now and they are exactly the same. The break starts at around 1.12 or so with the "bell" type sound and again at 1.33 or so.

Major Bill who owned Charay reissued 45's to meet demand and the numbering system was a mess. As you see the same song was also recorded by a number of different artists on Charay.

I had to double check this but there are two different versions of G 100 pale green label. One of them is 1.59 running time where the break in the middle has been shortened.

Does anyone know why this should be ?

It seems a bit strange to have two identical 45's with two different mixes. We all know that Major Bill had some strange goings on at Charay regarding releases and numbering etc but WTF ?

Is this why the Lilac label G 103 was pushed out so quickly and is this the short or long version ?
