'kings Of Soul' Down To Earth..info Please

I've got a white demo on Down To Earth by Kings of Soul with 'Girl What Have You Done' on both sides. Was just looking through John Manships new price guide and saw that he has the stock copy of this with 'Is Your Love For Me' listed as the main side priced at £1000.

So the question is...anybody got any idea on the value for a demo? Any help much appreciated :)

Seen them on UK lists between £20-40.

I think its the issue which is worth the money for the b-side, have seen the demo go for a fiver a few times on ebay.

Great photo Christian, I don't know the answer to your question but I'm fascinated by old photos of the obscure artistes. Is there a book or website that specializes in these kind of photos anywhere?

The pic was lifted from a site on the Beach music scene. Can't find the link at

the moment. Although, it seems very likely that this is the same band. The picture

is taken from the late 60s.
