Karlm
PM to reserve! (Can also be viewed at https://karlmarthon.wordpress.com/2017/02/28/february-2017-sales-list/) Hello and welcome to yet another list. A few of the highlights below! Northern Soul – There’s alot of nice cheap and mid priced goodies here this time around. By artists such as Sapphires, Bud Harper, Cholli Maye and True Tones. But also a few really rare ones such as Andy Fisher on Fat Fish (very nice and clean copy!), Oscar Wright on Fairmount (ditto), Edward Hamilton first take of “I’m gonna love you” on Mary Jane. Crossover – Plenty of options here too. Choice of Colour “Your love”, Darrell Banks “I’m the one who loves you”, Compacts double header on Carla, Harvey Averne Dozen “Central Park” plus many more. Modern Soul – Philly Cream super rare issue copy with “Too much to talk about” on the b-side. Manzel “Space funk” (clean copy complete with company sleeve), And two solid ones with strong sweet soul flipsides – Four Tracks on Note and Brothers By Choice on New World. Gil Scott-Heron “Willing”, Gloria Gaynor “This love affair” and more. Deep/Sweet/Group – Strong section with a few of the highlights in Satagans, Soft Touch, Bill Brantley, Webs and Calif Malibus. LP and 12 inch sectors are back for this list with small but high quality concentrated content – Beginning of the End’s rare and great self titled LP, Gaston (feat “Mind sticker and “Love is gonna getcha”), Mike James Kirklands first album, cheapies by Joneses, Main Ingredient and more. In the twelve inch section we have Cassiano “Onda”, ultra rare Mark IV with the full version of “Signs of a dying love” an a couple of more. There’s also a new mix for this month. This time a pretty random one I quickly put together using records lying around my listening station. Link here. And again – For all paypal payments please make sure I get the payment in GBP. Paypal are clever with their fee structures and standard is now they are trying to convert your payment into the local currency of the vendor. And of course doing so using their crappy exchange rates. So please make sure your payment are being sent in GBP and received in GBP. Paypal will default so that I receive your payment in SEK unless you change to GBP. Also as usual all payment over £150 needs to go with the friends/family option, alternatively if you add 4% to the total to cover the fees.
