Top 5 This Weekend

Len

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks,

I know plenty of people enjoy reading play lists, but rather than just peoples' play lists, thought it would be of as much interest if people post their top 5 sounds that they hear played out over a weekend (and where you heard them)

So, take your 'Little Black Books' with you (ok, your phones!) :D and please share with us what made you take notice / or simply enjoyed hearing once again this weekend.

I'll look forward to reading them next week.

Have a great night out wherever you go

All the best,

Len

In no particular order , just five from a sublime set by Danny Price at the inaugural Sure Shot Soul do in Sandy on Saturday.

Sterling Magee - Oh She Was Pretty.

Richard Marks -  Did You Ever Lose Something.

Katie Briggs - Last Time Around.

The Honey Bees - Let's Get Back Together.

Yvonne Fair - Walk Out The Door If You Wanna.

Ann Sexton - I Still Love You.

Could add loads more but some lemon limited it to a Top Five ...

There's a reason why some tunes are particularly popular. Maybe also explains why some are being picked up by advertisers.

That Dee Dee Sharp track is a real banger (= I'm liking it a lot at the moment).

Plenty going on this weekend - I've been told I'm camping in my garden with my daughter, so not a lot of soul for me. If my Son joins us he'll be playing 'Slipknot', so not so sure most of you will want my weekend's Top 5 next week :D

Have a great Easter where ever you go.

All the best,

Len
