pikeys dog
This Saturday sees the FLIPside Xmas all nighter at Sheriadans. Don't worry.... this isn't a Bexter style blatant plug.... It's an offer to all Soul Source 'regular' posters to attend free of charge. All you have to do is PM me and I'll add your name to the Guest list. Hope quite a few of you can make it.... it should be a really good night as we have a 'special appearance' on the night that should be a chuckle.... Flyer attatched..... don't let the term R&B put you off.... its a good mix between uptempo 60s R&B and 60s Soul in the large room, and midtempo soul and beat ballad type stuff in the small room. WOOF! Link to comment

Guest Jamie
Sorry can't make this Mr Dog. It's my turn to have the boys this weekend, & I've had to do a deal with my Dad. He's having mine tomorrow so I can do Soulsville, and I've got my 2 and my half-brother on Saturday night. Hope it goes well, sounds like a blinder. Cheers, Jamie Link to comment
pikeys dog
Please remember this offer is for 'REGULAR POSTERS' only.... Please don't ask to be added to the list unless you have been an active member on the site. WOOF! Link to comment
Dave
What a brilliant night Two rooms of top-notch and varied music and a great light hearted atmosphere. Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Pikey's Dog and others involved and THANKS for the hospitality. Already looking forward to the next one! PS. Reg, don't forget the "Feel Good" CD swap! Link to comment
Guest Biggie G
Excellent Night, top music and a lot of fun. Not too sure about the "Dancing Ladies" If you wanted to hire dancers, I'd have got dressed up and done it for a pint and a bag of Jelly babies. But 10 of 10 for bottle. Thanks to everyone envolved for a great night. Cheers Gareth Link to comment
pikeys dog
Thanks for all the positive feedback... The Dancers were just a bit of fun for the Xmas bash, and seemed to go down well with 50% of the crowd at least (all the red blooded males....) Ok attendances weren't up to those of the mighty 'Stoke', but I can guarantee everyone I spoke to on the night enjoyed it just as much as any other venue they've attended recently. We try hard to get the right balance of music, so that it will appeal to the die hard R&B fan at one end of the spectrum, and your open minded Northern fan at the other.... Shane link I agree Shane, Mr Dog should be down to his racing weight before very long, let the dog see the rabbit and all that..... Although using 'Jamie' and 'Promoter' in the same sentence is a bit wide of the mark, I like to think of myself in the 'Hopeless Drunk' category. No 'Soulsville' in January, guests in the bag for Feb & March. Something special coming up in April, but leave it with us, we'll sort something. Jamie Link to comment
