Best I have off the cuff in my collection is probably Willie Kendrick 'Change Your Ways/What's That On Your Finger' RCA.

I'll have a flick through tonight and probably change my mind.

Not far away though, Classic double-header.

Darrell Banks - Our love / Open the door must be right up there too.

Oooh yeah! One of the most famous, gotta be.

While we're on about classics, what about Artistics 'I'm Gonna Miss You/Hope We Have' Brunswick. I wonder how much that would be worth if it was rare as hens teeth??

'Hope We have' always gets the shoe-leather burning for me.

I'm gonna cheat here a bit, and mention one I wished I owned:

Ruby 'Deceived/Feminine Ingenuity' Token

Sorry Brett, Stole your thunder.

I just luuurrvvve this. You can stick your 'Take 6'. Token is the only one.

Hi Mark,

Maybe you were still typing when I posted last

One side is stronger than the other on JM. With Ruby, it's double-barrelled, they are both pure quality :D

We'll have to agree to disagree, but I think you'll find I'm right. beer.gif

You're dead right there Jamie! Sorry mate, never been able to see what anyone sees in Deceived - messy production, 'orrible vocals and a strange reggae style beat! What people see in that record is a total mystery to me........still, whatever dangles your chain!

Best. Mark.

I'll agree that JM is a brilliant double-sider, maybe if I didn't own the JM I might feel different. If I owned Ruby I spose I'd hanker after the one I didn't own!!

Actually, my copy has 'My Dearly Beloved' label on both sides - anyone else have it like that??

Loads of quality already mentioned, but my fave double header for 2 storming powerhouse detroit cuts has to be Rose Batiste Hit & Run/I Miss My Baby on Revilot - pure class and adrenaline  !

Others that spring to mind:

Jimmy Beaumont - Never Loved Her Anyway/You've Got Too Much on BANG

Bobby Sheen - Something New To Do/I May Not Be What You want on WB

The Innersection - Let Me Luv Ya/I'm In Debt To You on Group 5

Tony Hestor - Watch Yourself/Just Can't Leave You on Karate

I love buying records with 2 good sides - feels like you're getting an extra record for free - and you are!!!

Tons of great double headers I don't have (but would love!) either - flip over the Cashmeres (Hem), Dena Barnes (Inferno). Ty Karim - You Really Made It Good To Me (Romark) - there's tons of them. Long live the double header!!!
