and its...

Honey And The Bees -- Jing Jing A-Ling

"Jing Jing A Ling" Lyrics

written by and Norman Harris James Bishop....

Jing jing a ling
Listen to bells that ring
Jing jing a ling
think of the joy Christmas brings

Christmas is here
it's that happy time of the year
parties with friends and relations
Christmas cheer for the occasion
I can hear sleigh bells ringing
I wonder what gifts my baby is bringing

Jing jing a ling
Listen to bells that ring
Jing jing a ling
think of the joy Christmas brings

All the loved ones are home
no one wants to spend Christmas alone
kissing under the mistletoe
while music plays on the radio
people laughing spreading cheer
I wish this feeling could last all year

Jing jing a ling
Listen to bells that ring
Jing jing a ling
think of the joy Christmans brings

I can see children peeking
when they should be in there sleeping

Jing jing a ling
Listen to bells that ring
Jing jing a ling
think of the joy Christmans brings

Chosen by Steve aka @Steve S 60

Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings "Ain't No Chimneys In The Projects"

Lyrics

Songwriters: David Anthony Guy / Thomas R. Brenneck / Sharon Jones / Gabriel Roth / Neal Andrew Sugarman

When I was a child I used to wonder
How Santa put my toys under the tree
I said, momma can you tell me how this can be?
When there ain't no chimneys in the projects
(Ain't no chimneys in the projects) Not in the ghetto
Not in the projects
(Ain't no chimneys in the projects) no
Momma sat me down and said baby
Santa Claus does magic things
As soon as you're asleep a chimney will appear
And in the morning you will see all he brings
Don't you worry that their ain't no chimneys in the projects
(Ain't no chimneys in the projects) Not in the ghetto
Not in the projects
(Ain't no chimneys in the projects) no
Now I'm all grown and I see
It wasn't Santa who got that magic done
But momma now I know, you were the one
There ain't no chimneys (ain't no chmineys), ho ho ho, no, no , no in the projects
Not in the ghetto
Ain't no chimneys in the projects
Momma was the one
It was momma momma momma

Day 10 and we have lined up for track #10 a nomination from @David Meikle who has gone for the below along with a few words

Albert King - Santa Claus wants some lovin'

Albert was a cool 43 years of age when he joined Stax Records in 1966.

A superb blues guitarist he cut two wonderful sides for the label in ‘Born Under A Bad Sign’ and ‘Crosscut Saw’.

However he also triumphs unexpectedly with a song about Santa!

Merry Christmas Y’all.

@David Meikle

Up to day 10 now, but still after some nominations for the later stages of this Advent Calendar,

all you need to do to nominate is just pm me them with a few words
