Great Oldie from Inez & Charlie Foxx - Hurt By Love   Can still be picked up for under £20

Would've thought Come By Here or No Stranger to Love would be better choices - and I'm sure easy to get under £20. Dx

Don't know about 'under-priced'.Let's not say that, I think the problem is too many are over-priced these days!

But anyway here are just a few I've picked up recently...

I would have thought this one would be better than any of those 2 to be fair.

Fantastic record and a good point on over pricing.

I got 'Gone with the wind is my love' for about 2/6d.  Mind you, that was a while back.  I had no idea who or what it was, I just liked the title.

Did you take good care of your mother though you were only three?

Fontella Bass :  Lucky in love / Sweet lovin' daddy.

A fine singer with Two lovely dancers on one 45 for less than £20.

I think that whoever created the kids show Sesame street, must have listened to  Sweet lovin' daddy  because the intro sounds uncannily similar.

Sorry mate but I do not get the point you are trying to make?

Are you saying that the record is not worth £5 for some unknown reason?

The other side of Deon Jackson is good as well (great crossover from the pen of Tony Hester) and been a fav of mine for years (also done by Matt Lucas (Baby You Better Go-Go)  on Quality and Celebration labels) all versions under £20 (Deon Jackson might be a bit more)

can't speak for anyone else but if you look on Discogs there's loads for sale for about £2, so maybe that - just guessing though

I have it on the US label (demo)

don't know if you've got a copy of the NS Top 500 book but there's a list in it of all the NS records which charted

I'm not sure if he means £5 is not a bargin for the record and then gives a link to discogs where records of the same spec are more money? I know it's not a lot of money bur for under a fiver wherever you get it it's a Bargin in my opinon!

No I dont but to be honest with you mate I dont care if it did or didnt lol. As long as the record plays well and I like it thats all that matters to me.

I dont care if it is a boot or not either lol.

If the criteria is any (OVO) record you can currently buy for under £20.

Then the answer is Whats Going On - Marvin Gaye and you'd still have change for plenty more.

If the criteria must be northern, then slightly dearer but i'd go with Its An Uphill Climb To The Bottom - Walter Jackson

I respect your opinion but honestly its a poor choice for a SOUL record
