chips n gravy was northern soul food

Black eyed peas from a chippy just near Samanthas in Sheffield before the nighter Alan Polly Pollard would allways get just a tub of peas . Everyone was chomping away on phet except Polly God bless him

Chips and gravy on a tray from the Chinky opposite the Windmill club, Rovrum, on a Sunday night, after the dayers or soul nights did soak up the beer...

Great venue and great memories.

Only went the once , must have been  all of 10 people in , not one of my great memories , carnt remember the chinky , can only remember the Whitchurch chippy as battered was deffo on the menu,
