Soul Drifter - Funcky Soul Brother Parts 1&2, Smoke records

Just a heads up, that this very scarce piece of vinyl will be going up for sale soon on ebay unless it finds a new home before!

 

Unbeliably rare on Smoke Records and even more sought after in this condition, this brilliant piece of funk release in 1974, has to my knowledge only come up for general sale 3 times in recent years, it’s never been sold on Discogs, the last copy fetching over £3000.

 

The record was discovered recently in what were thought to be a box of duplicate vinyl 45's that were imported from Martin Koppel in the mid 1970's and has remained undiscovered since then.

 

The record has been played just once on each side to check for quality. 

 

It is effectively in mint condition, although technically as it has been played, it is M- , (which would be a very harsh grading)  no surface marks on the vinyl, however the label carries "crosses" as shown on the photos attached, which were present when imported. It comes in a generic sleeve.

 

This is a rare opportunity to acquire such a sought after and scarce original in such fantastic quality.
